Grief is sacred. It asks to be witnessed, honored, and held with compassion.
This Juneteenth, we are honored to host a Community Grief Healing Ceremony & Circle facilitated by Priestess Shananda, Amanda Roy, and Assétou Xango.
P. Shananda is a Denver-based Holistic Life Strategist and facilitator who creates grounded, nurturing spaces for individuals and communities to reconnect with self-trust, balance, and inner wisdom. Through embodied healing practices, ritual, and intuitive guidance, she helps participants cultivate clarity, resilience, and deeper connection.
Amanda Roy brings more than a decade of experience facilitating groups in leadership development, DEI/JEDI initiatives, nutrition, and community engagement. Her creative, heart-centered approach supports meaningful dialogue, growth, and collective healing.
Assétou Xango, known as the Dark Goddess Poet, is an acclaimed poet, writer, educator, and former Poet Laureate of Aurora, Colorado. A two-time TEDx speaker and Academy of American Poets Fellow, xyr work centers storytelling, liberation, and the visibility of women and gender-expansive people of color.
Together, we'll gather for an afternoon of remembrance, reflection, and healing. Through guided meditation, somatic practices, creative expression, optional sharing, and ritual, we'll honor the many forms grief can take while making space for connection, care, and renewal.
May we remember that healing unfolds not only within us, but through the communities that hold us.
